Born 22 Dec 1915 - Hillsboro, Montgomery Co, IL, USA, the daughter of Arshall Richmond/Richard Akins & Ida Myrtle 'Rose' Davis *Akins.

Buried Sep 1995 - Collinsville, Madison Co, IL, USA at Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.

On, 04 May 1945,in Collinsville, Madison Co, IL, Maxine was married to George Martin Schuette, the son of John and Victorial Thiel Schuette. He was educated at Southern Illinois and Purdue universities as well as Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a U.S. Army veteran during World War II, and served as a paratrooper in the European theater and with the Signal Corps.

She is survived by daughters,Marilyn Schuette, Oak Ridge, TN; Doris Schuette Rubin of Arlington, Va., and Linda Schuette Feuerbacher of Gastonia, N.C.; a grandson, Christopher Dean Willis of Etowah; and two sistersin-law, Dorothy Akins of Fairview Heights, Ill., and Florence Bollman of Collinsville; Two Brothers, Wendell Akins of Hamel,IL & Merle Akins of Bainbridge Island, WA.

Maxine & George were the owners of a Motel in Manchester, TN.
