James Galvin Dowd, formerly of Arvada, Colorado, died Wednesday, December 8, 1982, at his home. He was 61 years old. James was born on June 30, 1921, in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of Callie May Fox and Thomas Dowd.
He moved to Broomfield in 1956 and lived here for many years. He was the owner of Dowd Sales Co.
Survivors include: two sons, Danny of Columbia Falls, MT; and Randy of Broomfield; and a daughter, Cheryl of Arvada; and three grandchildren.
