Lula Mae Stewart Corn Schledwitz
Lula Mae Corn Schledwitz, 85, of Boise, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002. She was born June 27, 1917 in Dill City, Okla., to Clayton and Eva [Elam] Stewart. Lula was the oldest of four children. She attended schools in Oklahoma. She married Eddie Corn in Watonga, Okla., on Oct. 8, 1935. In 1940 they decided to move to Boise. They had four children. Eddie died July 3, 1971. On March 30, 1973, she married Bill Schledwitz.
Lula Mae was a very strict, but loving and caring mother. She loved cooking, baking, her flowers and summer gardens, quilting, and crocheting. She worked at M&W Market at 3rd and Main streets for 15 years. she was a very special person and will be missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, first husband, and two grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Schledwitz of Boise;
daughters, Ila Mae Corn-Manhalter [Don] of Boise, Dale Corn-Rosaia [Mike] of Woodinville, Wash.' sons, Harold [Margaret] Corn of Boise, and Galen [Donna] Corn of Boise; brother, Bob [Pearle] Stewart of Boise; sister Lois Fleming of California; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all the staff in the Haven at Life Care Center of Treasure Valley for all of their support and loving care for mamma.
Graveside services will be held at 3p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at Cloverdale Memorial Park. A viewing will be held thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cloverdale Funeral Home.
The family suggests that memorial be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Idaho Region, 1111 S. Orchard, Suite 200 Boise 83705; a donation to your favorite charity; or flowers may be sent.
