Olive Linda Montgomery was born June 16, 1891, in Springtown, Texas and passed away September 4, 1976, at the Routt County Memorial Hospital at the age of 85. She was a member of Deep Red Baptist Church, Manitou, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Wiley Tomlinson on September 10, 1919, at Frederick, Oklahoma. To this union were born five daughters: Regina Kelsay and Reba Wilson of Yampa, Barbara Eicher of Greeley, Colorado, Loyce Huffstetler and Norene Walker of Sacramento, California. Mrs. Tomlinson came to Colorado in 1922 and has resided here since that time with the exception of three years spent in Texas. She was preceeded in death by her husband who died in 1965. She was a devoted wife and mother, always thinking of others first. She was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters, two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Townsend of Little Rock, California, and Mrs. Annie Roberts, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 13 grand children; 4 great-grand children and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held September 7 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Yampa with Rev. Joe Peterson officiating. Her grand daughter Linda Shoup was the organist; lone Hinman sang "In the Sweet Bye and Bye" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere." Pallbearers were Jack Cox and Ivy Kelsay and grandsons Gary Wilson, Dennis Eicher, Allen Eicher, and Bill Burin. Interment was in the Yampa Cemetery.
