John C. Atkins, 62, of Lancaster, died on Friday, December 9, 2011 at his home. He was the loving husband of Nancy R. (Ruhl) Atkins for 23 years. John had worked for the Federal Government and later had worked in the hotel industry and retail.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Karastina, Alexander, Johnathan and Katherine, and 2 grandchildren.
