BLUFF CREEK – There is a great amount of sickness at this time and a great many cases proving fatal especially with old people. Henry Tresslar, familiarly known as Hank Tresslar, died at Indianapolis and his remains were brought down to Bluff Creek cemetery where he was laid away, by kind and loving hands, to rest until the final resurrection. Mr. Tresslar would have been 67 years old in July. He was always industrious and one of the kindest hearted men ye scribe ever was acquainted with. He was a friend to everybody and everybody was his friend. Elder Trusty preached the funeral discourse last Monday.

BANTA – Word came in over the phone here Saturday morning that Hank Tresslar of Indianapolis was dead and would be buried at Bluff Creek Monday. We all received the news with sad hearts for Hank was one of us and we all loved him. We will look over to the farm where he once lived (for it is in sight of us) and think of his kindness while he lived there.
