Memorial services for Juanita Reid Bryant, age 96, will be at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church chapel with Rev. Ron Durham and Rev. Larry Vowell officiating.

Mrs. Bryant was born January 26, 1919, at her parent's home in Elmore City, Oklahoma.

She graduated from Eliasville High School and attended Hardin-Simmons University.

She married Rev. Byron Bryant on 20 August 1937.

Mrs. Bryant was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Juanita was known for her gracious, warm, loving spirit, and her Christ-like attitude towards others. She was an ever-present partner in the ministry of her husband, Rev. Bryant. She supported, encouraged and assisted him in all aspects of the ministry. She served as a Bible study teacher in Sunday school most of her life as well as active in the Women's Missionary Union. In 1986, Mrs. Bryant retired from Texas Baptist Children's Home in Round Rock where she served as a receptionist, campus hostess and later a Field Representative in Development.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Bryant, and parents, Bessie and Jack Reid.

Survived by her daughters, Janice Payne and husband, Mike, of Temple, Texas; Ann Lindsey and husband, Duane, of Waco; four grandchildren, Steven Payne and wife, Heather, of Allen, Texas, Teri Harriman and husband, Bobby, of Bastrop, Texas, Debra Rountree and husband, Mark, of Coppell, Texas and Christa Meletio and husband, David, of Atlanta, Georgia. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, Whitney Wiseman and husband, Justin, Garrett and Ashlee Payne, Steven and Jonathan Rountree, Austin, Preston, Robert, Jr., and Ashley Harriman, Abigail, Audrey An and Chan Meletio; brother, Waylan (Pete) Reid and wife, Dorothy, of Breckenridge; nieces, Donna Boles and husband, Hurley, Barbara Hill and husband, Dennis, of Breckenridge.

Pallbearers will be the grandsons and great grandsons.

The family acknowledges special thanks to caregivers- Becky, Yolanda, Maria, Charlotte, Tammy, Rosa, Gina, Mary, and the Bluebonnet Healthcare nurses and aides.
