Edna Birdsong of Greenville died Saturday in Terrell. Funeral services are at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Toyce Phillips officiating. Burial is in Jacobia Cemetery.
Born in Wolfe City on Jan. 28, 1905, she was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Lutie Fowler. She was a former member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church. Mrs. Birdsong had lived in Greenville for 60 years.
Surviving are two sisters, Mary Lou Southerland and Anna Marie Fowler, both of Ada, Okla.; a brother, Howard Fowler of Chula Vista, Calif. and cousin John W. Morgan Jr. of Rowlett.
Her husband, Albert Birdsong preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
