CHADBOURN --- Funeral services for Mrs. Sally Ward Duncan, 78, who died Sunday, will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Emmanuel Holiness Church at Phipps Crossroads. Burial will be in Wards Station Church of God Cemetery. The Rev. Glenn Privette, assisted by the Rev. William Forehand will officiate. She is survived by her husband, Oscar Duncan; nine daughters, Mrs. Arthor Cartrett and Mrs. Ethel Blackmon, both of Chadbourn, Mrs. William Stephens and Mrs. Paul Hughes, both of Rt. 1, Chadbourn, Mrs. Hubert Huggins of Rockingham, Mrs.H. H. Blair of Havelock, Mrs. J. W. Godwin and Mrs. Andy Andrews both of Baltimore, Md. and Mrs. Ralph Clifton of Pasadena, Md.; two sons, Jake Ward of Rt. 1, Chadbourn and Woodrow Ward of Rt. 1, Chadbourn; two brothers, Johnny Ward of Rt. 1, Chadbourn, Fernie Ward of Hallsboro; and 30 grandchildren.
