Born in Stepp's Ford, Oklahoma on May 3, 1920, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lennah (Addington) Stepp.

She is survived by four children, Larry Gillig & wife Kathy of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Ron Gillig & wife Jean of Odessa, Missouri, Linda Koelling & husband Ray of Russellville, Missouri and Russ Gillig & wife Barb of Bay, Missouri, eight grandchildren Mitch, Jill, Jarrod, Dana, Rachelle, Holly, Josh and Joe and five step grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Melvin Stepp & wife Romella of Dallas, Texas, Lyle Stepp and wife Belle of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, Leon Stepp & wife Virginia of Joplin, Missouri, Jack Stepp of Miami, Oklahoma, Phip Stepp & wife Sue of Kansas City, Missouri and a sister Betty Mathews of Raymore, Missouri.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters Mary Warren & Claudine Stepp and two brothers Bill & Barkley Stepp.
She worked for several years at the Hermann Hospital. She also worked at Fricke Photography Studio in Hermann and at Chester Pauls Grill as a waitress.
Ann had many creative talents that she loved sharing with family and friends. She enjoyed reading so much that she was named the " #1 reader" by the Hermann Library. Her quilts are stunning, her paintings are full of rich colors of beautiful scenes and flowers, her gardening skills were amazing, she loved her roses. Ann could make the best chicken and dumplings in the world. She has passed along many of her creative skills to her children and grandchildren.
Ann will be missed by so many, but we know she is happy and dancing the waltz in heaven with Armin. One of Ann's favorite pastimes was reading the Bible. She belonged to the Swiss Evangelical Church and so enjoyed hearing Rev. Darrell Jung, her friend and pastor preach.
