Frank Beverly Brown III passed away January 23, 2009 at Richardson Regional Medical Center in Richardson, Texas. Services are set for 11 a.m. Monday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry House officiating. Interment will be at College Station Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 4 to 6 p.m.

Frank was born March 17, 1921 and grew up on the Texas A&M campus. He served as an Army Air Corps pilot in WWII attaining the rank of Captain. He attended Texas A&M College. After the war he and his wife, Kathleen Mangum Brown, known as Kitty, returned to College Station where he was manager for R. B. Butler and Bryan Building Products. They moved to Richardson in 1968. He retired as National Sales Manager for Scotsman Ice Machines.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Kathleen Mangum Brown, their three children; son, Frank IV and wife Janice; daughters, Margaret Millikin and husband Bill, Susanne Fagan and husband Peter; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his three grandsons, Paul Fagan, Michael Millikin, and Parks Brown, great-grandson Clark Johnson, Jim Cashion and Joel Warmolts.
