Earl Rudolf Anderson

Earl Rudolf Anderson, 87, of Longview, died [Tuesday], December 30, 1997 at St. John Medical Center.

He was born April 29, 1910 near Strandquist, Minnesota to Martin and Esther (Isaacson) Anderson, and came to the Longview area 18 years ago from Salem, Oregon where he had owned a landscaping business for 25 years.

Mr. Anderson was an Army veteran of World War II. He loved woodcarving, gardening and children.

He leaves three brothers, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A brother, Warren Anderson, died in 1976.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday [January 6, 1998], at Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park with the Rev. Lyle Prather officiating. An informal reception will follow at the Longview American Legion Hall. Private inurnment will take place at Longview Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Park Royal Activity fund, c/o Park Royal Medical Nursing Center, 910 16th Ave., Longview, Washington 98632.
