James Ross Cook, Jr., 67, of 3477 Trinity Church Rd. and husband of Lee Knight Cook of the home passed away December 5, 2011, at his home.

Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late James Ross Cook, Sr. and Mildred Cooper Cook. Mr. Cook retired from Laurens Glass and also with American Security at Kemet in Simpsonville. He was a member of Highland Home Baptist Church where he was a deacon. Mr. Cook served in the National Guard and was also a Mason and member of the Schroder Lodge #144.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a brother, Marion R. Cook and wife, Sybil of Laurens.
