Alfred was the son of Jean Baptiste 'John' LeBrun II (1819-1874) and Antoinette Anglehart (1822-1901).

SERVICES HELD FOR ALFRED LeBRUN, 64

The funeral for Alfred LeBrun; 64, who died suddenly at this home on Gale Street, Sunday evening was held Wednesday morning at nine o'clock from St. Peter's Catholic Church with Rev. J. J. Looze officiating. Interment was in the Oconto Catholic Cemetery. The pallbearers were Ben Aubrey, Tom Carriveau, Mathew Nicholai, Chas, LeMay, John Hazen, William Mack.

The deceased died of a paralytic stroke after an ailment of eight months. He was born in Canada, October 4, 1865 and came to Oconto at the age of 15. During his life time he was employed as carpenter and woods cook. On August 28, 1887 he married Edwidge Carriveau in Oconto.

He is survived by his widow, six daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Derks, Caledonia; Mrs. Merle VanWie, Caledonia, Wis.; Mrs. Clarence Bertholdt, Green Bay; Mrs. Lloyd Leslie, Marinette, Mrs. Leo Mineau, Kaukauna; two sons, Francis and Louis. There are also 15 grandchildren. He was a member of the Oconto Camp, Modern Woodmen of America.
