BENTONVILLE, ARK. — Services for Keith L. Hurley, 66, Rogers, were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Chapel here with the Rev. Allan Hunter officiating. A military burial was to follow at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville. Mr. Hurley, who served as a U.S. Army guard during the Nuremberg Trials for Nazi war criminals, died Monday, Sept. 6, 1993, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born Feb. 6, 1927, in Nash, Okla., the son of Thomas Arthur and Lois West Hurley. He graduated from Gore High School. Mr. Hurley worked for the Kansas City Power and Light Co. for 34 years as a right-of-way agent, was president and business manager of IBEW Local 1613, was active in the United Way and worked for Helping Hands. After his retirement in 1984 the Hurley's moved from Kansas City, Mo., to Rogers. He married Lila Patterson in 1948. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Levoy, Birmingham, Mich., and Randy, Raytown, Mo.; a daughter, Linda Marklein, Rogers.; three brothers, Duane, Rex and Joel, all of Enid, Okla.; two sisters, Nancy Nichols, Enid, Okla., and Rheba Wales, Lawrence, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
