Services for Mildred Julia (maiden name Leatherwood) Rust, 80, of 2444 Morrisville Road in Anniston, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Harvey Brown officiating. Burial will be in Eulaton United Methodist Cemetery with the funeral home in charge. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rust died Sunday at her home. Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Buckowing of Jenison, Mich., Delores Nosrat of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mary Waldrep of Anniston; seven grandchildren, Donel Buckowing, Darrell Buckowing, Christopher Waldrep, Keith Waldrep, Kevin Waldrep, David Nosrat and Nancy Botsford; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Waldrep, Christopher Waldrep, Donel Buckowing, Daryll Buckowing, Jerrod Hurst, David Nosrat and John Cain.
Mrs. Rust was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She retired from Anniston Memorial Hospital after 30 years of service as an LPN. She was a member of Eulaton United Methodist Church.
