Mona Delia Waller Barnes, 90, of Bald Knob, Arkansas went home to be with her Heavenly Father on December 6, 2011 in Bradford, Arkansas.
She was born on July 11, 1921 in Searcy, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents O.C. Waller & Ava Bryd Waller, her sister and (brother -in-law), Mildred Louise Waller Young, (Oppie Sr.).
The widow of Fred Barnes, she was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend to many. She was and will always will be remembered by her family, friends, and host to so many others as "NANNIE"!
She is survived by 2 children; Fredrick Dewitt Barnes (Mackie) of Bald Knob, Arkansas and Delia Rose Barnes Edens (Keith) of Bradford, Arkansas; one brother, James Monroe Waller (Betty) of Judsonia, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren, Victor Wade Collins of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Fred Robert Barnes of Bald Knob, Arkansas, Delia Rachelle Wyatt (Randy) of Searcy, Arkansas and Kevin Dewitt Barnes (Michelle) of Bald Knob, Arkansas. 5 great-grandchildren, Joseph Gerald Lockhart Collins of Bald Knob, Arkansas, Delia Ravin Cox Treece (Dakota) of Searcy, Arkansas, MaKenzie Taylor Cox of Bradford, Arkansas, Kennady Gabriel Rogers of Searcy, Arkansas and Audrey Barnes.
Visitation will be Friday December 9, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob.
