Billie Jean Haskins Camara Bolinger, 72 of Longwood, FL, formerly of Hinton and Pipestem passed away on September 10, 2009 surrounded by her family & friends following a long illness.

Born in Lexington, Kentucky on September 4, 1937, she was the daughter of the late George & Ethel Donovan Haskins.

"It's all good!", Jean commonly expressed on good days or bad days pertaining to life and happiness as a whole.

Jean graduated from Mt. Sinai Nursing School in Miami, Florida in 1958. In Miami, she married the late Dr. Prudencio Camara and gave birth to the oldest of three children, Threase. Shortly after Dr. Camara's medical residency in Nashville, Tennessee she gave birth to her second child, Mecot. Later, they moved to West Virginia and established Dr. Camara's medical practice in Hinton where she assisted him and later gave birth to their third child, Elisa.

While in Hinton, Jean was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Following Dr. Camara's death, Jean married Jim Bolinger and created a life together running the famous Oak Supper Club in Pipestem. After, Jim's death, Jean moved to Florida to be close to her daughters and grandchildren. She lived a happy life with family and longtime companion, Vincent Accardi.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her son, Sgt. Mecot E. Camara of the United States Marine Corps.

Survivors include two daughters, Elisa & husand Ryan Thompson of Longwood, FL and Threase & husband Dave Riggs of Orlando, FL. Step-son, Jim Bolinger of San Francisco, CA and step-daughter, Tamara Bolinger of San Francisco, CA. Grandchildren, Mecot Echo Camara, Craig Lilly, Crista Willey, and Joe, Sam & Hank Rock. Step-grandchildren, Lindsey Riggs & Ben Bolinger Hunter. Two great grandchildren, Vaughn Willey & Kahlan Camara. Other close relatives include her devoted sisters-in-law, Gemma Leftwich & husband Richard of Hinton and Era Frost & husband Neil of Naples, FL. Close, long-time friend, Nadine Woodrum of Hinton.

Jean will always be remembered for her determination & strength to go on in spite of hardships & difficult times. Jean continued to live life to the fullest and always had a smile on her face and would always express, "It's all good!".

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday September 19, 2009 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Rev. Arthur Bufogle officiating. Interment will be in Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
