Mrs Mary Emmeline Swarm, aged 80, of Osceola died at 11:00 Friday in her home after an illness of five years. She was born November 22, 1860, in Elkhart county and moved to Osceola 21 years ago.
As Miss Mary Emmeline Nusbaum, she was married 64 years ago to Henry Swarm, who died November 19, 1939.
Surviving are three sons, Albert of Mishawaka, John of Jones, Mich, and Louis of Osceola; two daughters, Mrs John Snyder of Osceola and Mrs Joye Gongwer of Elkhart; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at 3 o'clock in the residence by the Rev George Brunner, pastor of the Osceola Methodist church. Burial in Olive cemetery.
