THOMPSON "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die." Ecclesiastes 3:1-2. E. Inez (Shropshire) Thompson, age 76, passed from this life into eternity and into the arms of the Lord on November 9, 2003. She was born August 5, 1927 to John and Esther Buse in Stuart, Oklahoma. She moved to Ada, and married A.W. Shropshire on June 7, 1947. To this union four children were born. Inez moved to Oklahoma City in 1975, and in 1978 she married Frank Thompson. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, painting and sewing. Preceding her in death are her parents,
her husband Frank Thompson, and her daughter Sherry Shropshire. She is survived by one son, Jerry Shropshire of Fletcher; two daughters, Deondra Shropshire of Brielle, New Jersey and Sonya McGinty & husband Mike of Yukon; four
grandchildren, Zach and Annie McGinty of Yukon, Shawn Shropshire and Shannon Semit of OKC, and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by a special nephew, Joe Bob Black of Stuart, OK, and a special niece, Beverly Snell of McAlester. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Keefer for the last twelve years of care, and her nurses Leslie, Jeannie, and Jennifer at Frontier Hospice.
Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 14, 2003 at Mustang Assembly of God with interment at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada, OK. MERCER-ADAMS
