JOHN QUINCY ADAMS

John Quincy Adams, 75, a retired mechanic for the Atlantic Greyhound Lines, died last night in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Adams was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of South Charleston.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Kirk; a son, Jack, of South Charleston; two daughters, Mrs. Carl S. Koch of South Charleston and Miss Barbara Lee of San Diego, California; a brother, Thomas of Roanoke, Virginia; and six sisters, Mrs. Wallace Elliott and Mrs. Rosa Combs, both of Roanoke, Mrs. Gay H. Lewis, and Misses Florence, Frances and Elizabeth, all of Lynchburg, Virginia.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Snodgrass Funeral Home under charge of the Revs. Frank Ryburn and Wayne Smith.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
