GRAHAM - Mrs. Sallie Beck Drumwright, 81, of 307 Mill St., Graham, died at her residence on Monday, July 16, 2007, at 2:30 p.m.

A native of Burke County, she was the wife of the late R.G. Drumwright Sr., and the daughter of Samuel Frank Beck and Elizabeth Sims Beck, both deceased. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Graham.
Sallie Beck Drumwright Survivors include one son, Mr. Robert G. ?Bob? Drumwright Jr. of Graham; one brother, Mr. Roland Beck and wife, Nancy of Morganton; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Janie Edwards and husband, ?Red? of Graham; and special friends, ?Brownie,? Cindy Kernodle, Tiffany Turner, Mary Trollinger, Faye Kirby, and Robert and Bonnie Cook.

She was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, July 18, 2007, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham by Dr. Kenneth Hall and the Rev. Harvey Edwards. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham from 1 to 2 p.m. today, July 18, 2007. At other times, they will be at the residence.

Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
