Mrs. Staples was born in Choctaw County, on March 24, 1913. She was a member of Greenville First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Staples; parents, Kenneth Neal and Ettie Mae (Bagwell) Blake; and her siblings, Leopal Blake, Kenneth Blake, Laudis Johnson and Martin Bradberry.
Survivors include her son, Bobby Blake Staples of Terry; daughter, Eddie Lou Finger of Greenville; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Sunday from noon until time of services at Coleman Funeral Home.
