Henry Atkinson on Jan 16, 1826 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY. and after his death, she married Major Adam Duncan Steuart on Mar 5, 1844 in St. John's Church, Washington,D.C.; both of her husband's were career military with the United States Army, the latter of whom was stationed for many years at Fort Leavenworth. She had two children, Edward Graham Atkinson and Adam Steuart (died young).
