GALVESTON — Ada B. Mallia,78, died Friday at her residence. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Malloy and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. J.J. Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Alta Loma, under the direction of the funeral home. Visitation will be after 4 p.m.today at the funeral home, where a wake service will be held at 7 tonight.

Born Jan. 2, 1910, in Bell County,Tx., she was a retired dispatcher for the Galveston County Sheriff's Department and a former precinct Judge of Precinct 6 in Galveston.

Survivors include a daughter, Frances "Doni" Julian of Texas City; two sons, Clarence S. Mailia Jr. and Gerald Mailia, both of Galveston; three sisters, Lucille Dodd of Bartlett, Polly Kaiser of Universal City and Marie Thorpe of Irving; two brothers, Bob Crow and Dick Crow, both of Temple; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Adrain"Butch" Mailia, John Dafonte, William Dafonte, Robert Cherry, Don Pursley and Joe Silva.
