Arthur George Hughes, 91, passed away Oct. 8,2003. He was born on Jan. 29, 1912, in Springville Utah to George D. Hughes and Clara Jane Spafford. He married Mary Lucile Henrie on April 2,1931, she preceded him in death on Nov. 29,1965, then married Naomi Overland Parkard in October of 1970. He was known as a great coach by many. He is survived by his wife Naomi, and his children Connie, Nancy, George A.,and stepchildren Lynn McKee, Mary A. Williams, and Verl Parkard, 27 grandchildren,43 great grandchildren,and one great great grandchild. Funeral services were held Oct. 11,2003 with the interment of Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Goff Mortuary.
