The St. Cloud Times, November 26, 1937

MRS. ELLEN HALL, formerly of Foley, died Thursday night in St. Paul at the age of 87 years. She had been living for the past few years with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Swenson.
The funeral will be held in St. Paul at 8 o'clock, Saturday morning, after which the body will be to the cemetery in Foley for burial.
Mrs. Hall was a sister of Mrs. Catherine Sheehan of this city. They were both sisters of the Foley brothers, prominent contractors in the early days, all of whom are now deceased, Mrs. Sheehan being the sole member of the family surviving.
Mrs. Hall leaves five children, Mrs. W.H. Lord, W.E. Hall, John F. Hall, Mrs. Mrs. J.E. Doheny and Mrs. E.A. Swenson. Two other children, George and Anna, are dead.
