Soon after their marriage, William & Elizabeth emigrated to USA where 5 more children were born. William died ~ 1864 and in 1870 Elizabeth married JOHN NORTHCOTT.
S.R. Smith Mortuary records of Lead state that Elizabeth, wife of John Northcott (sic), died September 19, 1885; age 64 years; born in Cornwall, England; light complexion, gray hair, blue eyes, 5' 6" tall; buried in the South Lead Protestant Cemetery.
Black Hills Daily Times newspaper, September 15, 1885 - "Died - At the residence of Chas. Goss, East Lead, Saturday, September 12, Mrs. Narcott (sic), of the valley. Death was caused by fatty degeneration of the heart."
Black Hills Daily Times, September 15, 1885 - "The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Northcott (sic), who died at the residence of Charles Goss, East Lead, on Saturday, will take place on the arrival of deceased's husband, probably at 2 p.m. today. Deceased came to the Hills in 1880, and resided in Terraville, where she made many friends. In 1883 she went with her husband to his ranch near Sundance, where she remained until two weeks ago, when she came to Lead for medical treatment."

A large cortege of deceased's friends followed the remains to the South Lead cemetery, where interment took place. Rev. O.E. Murray officiated."
