Evelyn Wilcher, 72, died Friday in Klamath Falls.
Born to Sam and Sophie Nelson McClung in Grants Pass on Nov. 8, 1908, she moved to Klamath Falls in 1927.On June 5, 1928, she married Edgar Wilcher in Klamath Falls, He preceded her in death in April, 1966.Prior to her retirement, she was employed for 20 years by the Weyerhaeuser Co. Mrs. Wilcher was an avid gardener and a member of the V.F.W.She is survived by her son, Eddie Wilcher, Klamath Falls; daughters, Norma Biskeborn, Central Point, Betty Alcorn, Citrus Heights, Calif., and Gloria Cantwell and Deloris Collins, both of Klamath Falls; brothers, Herb McClung, Eureka, Calif., Howard McClung, Rogue River, and Edison McClung, Cave Junction; and sisters, Bernice Renwick, Eureka, Dolly Daggett and Elsie Brown, both of Crescent City, Calif., and Rita Daggett and Evie Akers, both of Medford. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
