Wayne Langston, who resided in Cecil, Arkansas, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at his home. He was born May 6, 1931 in Franklin County, Arkansas to the late Charley Fulton Langston and Pearl Mae (Casey) Langston. He was 80 years old.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Duard Langston, and two grandson's, Dustin Langston and Brian Gack.

Wayne was a Tool & Die Maker for Bradley Tool & Die Company in Fort Smith, worked in construction, was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Rev. Vondal Davenport officiating. Burial will be at Berkley Cemetery in Cecil, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Langston of the home; three daughters, Terri Young of Lavaca, Shari Armstrong of Ratcliff, and Joy Carter of Charleston; three sons, Gary Langston of Cecil, David Langston of Greenwood, and Clay Langston of Cecil; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandson's.
