Leslie Crockett, age 83, of Glendive, died on Friday, December 17, 2004 at the Glendive Medical Center Extended Care. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at the Chapel of the Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home in Glendive with Rev. Joel Arndt officiating. Interment will follow at Dawson Memorial Cemetery in Glendive. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Glendive is entrusted with arrangements. Leslie was born May 11, 1921 in Glendive, the son of Colonel David and Rosella (Rasley) Crockett Specht. He was raised in Glendive and educated in the Glendive Public Schools. Leslie married Arlene Timm in Glendive in 1950. Leslie worked for the city of Glendive for 30 years retiring in 1981. He enjoyed flying model airplanes, and riding motor cycles. Leslie especially enjoyed hunting, and loaded his own ammunition He thoroughly enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens every morning for coffee and a game of pool with his friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to everyone who was his friend. Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Arlene in 1980; four sisters and one brother. Leslie is survived by family members; David Crockett, Delma Geiger and her husband Joe and Wilma Dowson all of Glendive, Montana and Glen Crockett of Billings, Montana, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a dear friend Pearl Kadus of Glendive, MT.
