Millard J. Finkenbinder, 69, RD4, West Pennsboro Township, died Wednesday at the Carlisle Hospital.
He was born in North Middleton Township and was the son of the late John W. and Laura H. Lichty Finkenbinder.
He was a retired farmer and had more recently been employed at the Country Butcher Shop. He was a member of Mt. Rock United Methodist Church and adult class of the Sunday school where he was a former Sunday school teacher. He was a former teacher and superintendent of Greason United Methodist Sunday school.
Surviving are his wife, Glenda Gardner Finkenbinder, four sons, Robert L. Finkenbinder, RD4 Carlisle, John H. Finkenbinder, 928 Calvary St., Millard J. Finkenbinder Jr., RD5 Carlisle, Dewaine E. Finkenbinder, RD3, Newville; 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Revs. Karen Engle Layman and Joseph F. Ritter officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
