Died Saturday, Nov. 8, 1986, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 77, a native of Greensburg and resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 3 to 10 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Milford Walters and Brother Bob Rush. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Mrs. Esther Berry Fugler, Baton Rouge; three daughters, Mrs. Randolph (Alice) Parrino, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Donnie (Virginia) Davis, Tampa, Fla., and Tommie Ann Monceaux, Gramercy; a son, John J. Fugler Jr., Baton Rouge; five sisters, Louella Hammatt and Gladys Hogg, both of Deerford, Nannie Mae Robinson, Wilma Pullian, and Alma Whittington, all of Baton Rouge; 24 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, Robert B. Fugler Sr. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Randolph Parrino Jr., Bobby, David, Jay, and Adrian Fugler, Benny McCarter, and Ray Woertz. He was a member of Winbourne Avenue Baptist Church.
