Cornelius Soul was a member of the First Church. He was the first Assessor of North Yarmouth (1733), a Constable (1734) and a Selectman many times. He was the first Representative of the town to the General Court of Massachusetts. He was a Captain in the 6th Massachusetts Volunteers.
