ELMER E. CEISS
Elmer E. Geiss, age 75 years, died at his home in Elizabethville Saturday morning. He had been in ill health for some time.
Mr. Geiss was a son of the late Monroe and Miranda (Knoll) Geiss, and was a native of Berks County. A former resident of Oregon, he had lived in this eom- jmunity the past thirty-two years.
He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, town; Reading Lodge 660, F. and A. M., and the Odd Fellows Lodge of Pendleton, Oregon.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Cora Bby Geiss, one son, Jack Geiss of Alexandria, Virginia, and two grandchildren.
Services were held from the residence at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Melvin G. Sponsler, of Paxinos, officiated and interment was made in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Members of the Reading Masonic Lodge conducted memorial services at the residence Tuesday evening.
