Alta "Ted" F. Huse, 88, of Smithville died April 10, 2011. Funeral services were held Tuesday, at 2 p.m. at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home. Burial followed at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Smithville.
She is preceded in death by husband, Silas J. (Jack) Huse; and sons, Robert and Johnie Huse.
Alta is survived by daughters, Dixie Charles of Smithville, Brenda and David Wilson of Taylor and Lou Ann and Danny Sylvester of Lake Jackson; daughter-in-law, Mattie Huse of Tomball; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
