Mr. Arthur Hall, 94 of Soperton, died Sunday, November 20, 2011.
Mr. Hall was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County, and was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Emma Rich Hall. He was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church, Treutlen County, an Army Veteran of World War II, and a member of VFW Elder Collins Post 10925 Soperton, Georgia.
Survivors include his wife, Sybil Webb Hall; three daughters, Glenda Durden and Tina Page, both of Soperton; and Judy Smith, of Macon; a son, Nelson Hall, of Cochran; a brother, George Irby, of Jacksonville, Florida; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22 in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Elder Aubrey Caraway officiating. Burial will be in Midway Cemetery, Treutlen County with Military Honors.
Active pallbearers were Matthew Holmes, Justin Holmes, Lee Green, Mike Fulghum, Nathan Slater, and Alec Daniel.
Members of the VFW Elder Collins Post 10925 served as honorary pallbearers.
