Duffield, 56, of Tucson, formerly of Sutton, W.Va., died Oct. 30, 1993, in a Tucson hospital after a long illness.

He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and University of Kentucky School of Law. He was a patent attorney in New Jersey for many years. He was a Presbyterian.

Surviving: sons, Mark of Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Chad of Morristown, N.J.; daughters, Carolyn Gerber of Medford, N.J., Cheryl Duffield and Cami Duffield, both of Morristown; parents, Charles A. Jr. and Rebecca Fox Duffield, both of Sutton; sister, Margaret Guerrero of Graham, Wash.; two grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, with the Rev. Barbara Accord officiating.

There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity of your choice.
