Mrs. Miriam Armstrong, aged 67 years, of Cooch's Bridge, widow of Edwin S. Armstrongm died in the Delaware Hospital on Thursday morning, July 10.

Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the Newark New Century Club, of which she was president for several years. She was active in club work and well known among club women throughout the State.

Services were held at her late home Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock and interment was made at Pencader Cemetery.


Mrs. Armstrong is survived by 10 children, two daughters, Mrs. James O. G. Duffy of Cooch's Bridge; Mrs. Miriam Wiehe of Washington; and eight sons, Arthur G., Raymond E., and Ellie M., of Philadelphia; Edwin Jr., and Frederick E. of New York; Howard M. of Washington; Warren O. of Cooch's Bridge, and Lieutenant Philip E. Armstrong of Seattle. Lieutenant Eugene V. Armstrong, another son who was an officer in the 13th U.S. Cavalry, was killed while playing polo on the Mexican border four years ago.
