Miss Nellie ALEXANDER and James PHILLIPS were married at the First Christian Church Sunday afternoon, Rev. W. G. JOHNSTON performing the ceremony. Mrs. PHILLIPS is a daughter of Mrs. C. E. ALEXANDER of this city and has been employed as bookeeper at the Southern Illinois Hatchery for some time. She is deservedly popular among a wide circle of friends. Mr. PHILLIPS is employed by the Young Mercantile Company, having charge of the grocery department as manager. He is a promising young business man with a host of friends. Mr. and Mrs. PHILLIPS will make their home in this city.
