Malcom T. Nugent, 72, Gilmore St, Columbus, Ind. died at 3:36 a.m. , July 15, 1994 in the Columbus Regional Hospital Emergency Room.

Born Nov. 6, 1921 in Bartholomew County, Ind., he was the son of Ramey T. and (Ethel) Chrisman Nugent. ,He married Lenora Petro Feb. 10, 1950 in Marion County, Ind., and she survives.

He was co-owner with his wife Lenora of the The Storm Sash Co. in Columbus for 39 years before he retired in 1989. He was a World War II U.S. Vetern and a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Police in Columbus. He was a member of the East Columbus United Methodist Church, the Tri County Home Builders Association and the Hoosier Schooners Campers Association local chapter of the National Campers and Hikers Association.

In addition to his widow , he is survived by a daughter, Rannie "Susie" Harden of Holland, Ind.; a son, Mark T. Nugent of Columbus; a brother, Hubert Nugent of Greensburgh; three grandchildren.

The services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the East Columbus Methodist Church in Columbus, with the Rev. David H. Lee officiating.

Burial will be in the Garland Brook Cemetery, Columbus

Visitation will be from 2 until ? p.m. Sunday ay Meyers Funeral Services at their Reed and Jewell Chapel on 25th St., Columbus, and from 9 a.m. until time of the service Monday at the church.

There will be a Military graveside rites.
