George Elmer Edmundson of Buchanan Dam, Texas died on September 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the Georgetown Hospital after an illness of several weeks. He was 85 years of age. Mr. Edmundson was born on October 26, 1883 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
Funeral services were held on September 14 at 2:00 p.m. from the Davis Chapel with burial in Burnet, Texas in the Burnet City Cemetery. Mrs. J. T. Tindel was the organist.
He is survived by five children; George P. Edmundson, Houston; Arthur Lee Edmundson, Dayton; Mrs. Roy Shook, Georgetown; Mrs. W. J. Finnegan, Buchanan Dam, Texas and Mrs. Douglas Welch of Alice.
