Jason is the son of Howe Keith White and Temperance Dean. He married Betsey Bates Lincoln on May 21, 1837 and had 6 known children. Following Betsey's death, he married Lydia Whitney Roberts on Feb 27, 1853. They had 11 children. Following Betsey's death in 1875, he married Rebecca B. Crapo in Rochester, MA (daughter of Lewis Shaw). Jason served in the 4th Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Militia (infantry). Jason served as a music teacher, farmer and shoemaker. It was said by a relative that Jason had a beautiful tenor voice which he used in performing and teaching music. One son who died before his 1st birthday and not listed with children below was Loyd Emery White (4 Jan.1844-2 Sept. 1844)
