ABRAHAM BENSON NALL
DIES VERY SUDDENLY
PIONEER RESIDENT PASSES AWAY
EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING
AT AGE OF 74
Retiring about 9 o'clock Tuesday evening, Abraham Benson Nall, 74 years old, awakened his wife shortly after 3 o'clock Wednesday morning and complained his heart was bothering him. Mrs. Nall prepared a soothing liquid for him and when his pains increased called a doctor. Before the doctor could arrive at the stricken man's bed, life had ceased to exist, death occurring but a short time after his first complaint to his wife.
Mr. Nall was one of the pioneers of this county, having lived in this vicinity nearly all his life. He was born at Elk Creek, Missouri, Jan. 12, 1860. His parents were Rev. Wesley and Nancy Nall.
About 15 years ago he came to Cabool to make his residence and since that time had been in the restaurant business. He was a member of the Masonic lodge which conducted the funeral service at Steely's Chapel church yesterday afternoon. Interment was in Steely's Chapel cemetery under the direction of Elliott Funeral Home.
He was united in marriage to Ella Stouse Savage in 1910. His immediate family consisted of two foster children, a son, Merlin Nall, a member of the senior class at Cabool school; and a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Durbin of near Topaz.
Besides the children and his widow he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J.N. Forsythe of Whittier, Calif.; and Mrs. Sarah Grisham of Elk Creek; and a brother, Sam Nall of Chico, Calif.; and many other relatives.
