Mr. Spencer died Saturday at the Harrisonburg Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

Spencer of Huntsville, Alabama; 2 daughters, Mrs. Winifred Williams of Denton, Texas, and Mrs. Virginia Cobb of Ringgold, La.; 2 brothers, Mr. E. E. Spencer of Union Grove, North Carolina, and Mr. Dan Spencer of Denison, Texas; 3 sisters, Mrs. Harry Lange of Little Rock, Arkansas, Mrs. Glynn Steel of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Gus Farmer of Shreveport, La.; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
