Per Dayton Daily News obit: Anna Mae (Boone) Thomas, age 93 of Clayton, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Englewood Manor following a brief illness. Anna was a member of the Old German Baptist Church, Salem District. Anna is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Robert & Edna Mae Thomas, and Charles & Linda Thomas, all of Clayton; daughters and sons-in-law: Virginia & Harold Harshman of St. Paris; Marie Sides of State Line, PA; Carol & Larry Forst of Huntington, IN; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and many other family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lovernia (Ingle) Boone, husband Everett Levi Thomas in 1999, daughter betty Carolyn Thomas, 8 brothers and sisters, and a son-in-law Keith Sides. A Prayer Service will be held at 9:15 AM on Saturday November 1 at the funeral home with funeral services to follow at 10:00 AM at the Salem Old German Baptist Brethren Church, corner of Barnes Road and Sweet Potato Ridge Road with the Home Brethren officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 5-8 PM on Friday, at Kindred Funeral Home, 400 Union Blvd., Englewood. Interment will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery, Englewood.
