A Mass of Christian Burial for Jerome Louis Andries will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Elmer, with Rev. Binochan Pallipparambil officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery, Elmer, under the direction of John Kramer & Son. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2011 and from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at John Kramer & Son. Recitation of The Holy Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Jerome Louis Andries, 95, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Lexington House in Alexandria.
Mr. Andries is preceded in death by his wife, Florence Gunter Andries; son John Louis Andries; and daughter Elizabeth Ann Andries Chason.
Mr. Andries is survived by his six children; daughter Betty Joyce Andries Van Hoof and husband Buddy of Lecompte, son Charles C. Andries and wife Virginia of Magnolia, Texas, son David Albert Andries and Elaine of Boyce, daughter Catherine Andries Wyand and husband Carl of New Albany, Ohio, son James Hardy Andries and wife Iris of Otis, daughter Sandra Andries Godwin and husband Danny of Pineville; one brother, Dr. James Andries and wife Daisy of Alexandria; two sisters, Agnes Roberts of Alexandria, and Betty J. Andries of Houston, Texas; twenty grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great-grandsons.
