ROBERT BRIGGS, an old and highly esteemed citizen, passed suddenly away June 11th., at his home near Plymouth. Deceased was born in Lincolnshire, England, September 1, 1830. He was united in marriage in 1850 to Miss Martha Doty. To them were born one child, a daughter, who preceded him to the better land in 1886. In early life he united with the M.E. Church, of which he has ever been a faithful member. He leaves a wife and one grandson to mourn his sudden death.

ROBERT BRIGGS - Monday - Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Doty were called to Plymouth yesterday by the sudden death of their brother-in-law, Robert Briggs, aged 62 years. He has been a resident of that township for over fifty years; was highly respected and will not only be missed by his wife and little twelve year old grandson, but by the whole community. The M.E. Church, of which he has long been a faithful member, will also miss his devoted Christian influence. Interment was made in the Plymouth Cemetery on the 13th. inst.
