Died 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 1989, in Baton Rouge. He was 62, a native of Livingston Parish and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was former owner of Weld Manufacturers and president of Transom Savers Inc. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., after 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. L.C. Lord. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Carlis LeBlanc Hutchinson; two daughters,Mrs. Jessie (Betty) Chevallier, Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Herschel (Sharon) Pell, Albany, Ga.; two sons, Charles and Keith Hutchinson, both of Livingston; four sisters, Nellie Giroir, Chalmette, Cookie Chehardy, Nashville, Tenn., Opal Lovell, Virginia, and Alice Morton, New Orleans; a brother, Jess Hutchinson, LaPlace; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
