Louis Gray Adams, 78, Kokomo, died at 1:06 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, in the emergency room at St. Joseph Hospital.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Marion National Cemetery, with military honors provided by the U.S. Army and the VFW Military Rites Team.

Louis Gray Adams, 78, Kokomo, died at 1:06 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2011 in the emergency room at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born September 19, 1932 in Weakley County, Tennessee, the son of Clyde and Nina (Brush) Adams. He was married to Clairene Teat, who preceded him in death.
Louis was a graduate of Henry High School in Henry, Tennessee. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a self-employed barber.
Louis is survived by three sons, Randy Adams, Robert Adams, both of Kokomo, Timothy Adams of Memphis, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley McFadden of Paris, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers and one sister.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Marion National Cemetery, with military honors provided by the U.S. Army and the VFW Military Rites Team. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
